WELCOME TO THE SAMFORD & DISTRICTS CHAMBER OF COMMMERCE
The Samford Chamber & Districts Chamber of Commerce has a strong history of supporting the wider Valley business community. The Chamber is affiliated with the Combined Chambers of Commerce & Industry Queensland (CCIQ) and provides advocacy and support for local business owners and their staff. The Chamber is associated with the Moreton Bay Regional Council and support their Regional Economic Development Strategy. This also means being a strong supporter of Council’s membership of the Qld Government’s Small Business Friendly Councils initiative.
YOU’RE INVITED TO ATTEND : The Chamber conducts regular Networking Breakfast meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from February to November each year at the Samford Community HUB facility located within the Samford Parklands just north of the Samford Village Business Precinct.
The breakfast networking meeting format alternates between invited Keynote Guest Speakers and “Meet & Greet the Locals” events which feature an on-site Mobile Coffee Van and accompanying locally made pattisserie Continental Breakfast. Visitors are welcome to attend by registering through the Chamber website. The morning gets under way at 6.45am with a “KickStarter” coffee or two ! followed by a 7.00.am Meeting Start and all finished by 8.30am .
CHAMBER’S ONGOING “SUPPORT LOCAL” CAMPAIGN SUPPORTING OUR BUSINESS COMMUNITY : Samford & Districts Chamber of Commerce in 2020 implemented a Shop Local campaign to support and assist Samford Valley businesses. The advertising logos included Support Local, Shop Local, Eat Takeaway for Samford and the latest Source Local initiative which all aim to increase the local community’s understanding of the value of local businesses.

CHAMBER PROMOTES ANNUAL CHRISTMAS LIGHTS COMPETITION : With valuable support and sponsorship prizes from local business houses, the Samford Chamber of Commerce promotes their annual Christmas Lights Competition, and since 2018 the competition winners have donated their prizemoney to a variety of local community organisations..
