Monthly Chamber Breakfast and networking meeting: End of Financial Year Tax Planning ; Tips & Traps
As the closure of yet another financial year fast approaches, so too does the window of opportunity to consider and action a number of income tax planning strategies for the 2019 financial year.
Tony Mifsud from Mifsud and Associates, one of our local members shares his knowledge on how to position your business for the best possible results:
“In many cases, tax planning strategies must be in place by the end of the financial year to be effective. Unless you act now, you may be limiting yourself to the tax planning strategies that may be available to you.
With this year being an election year in Federal politics, taxpayers are facing a greater level of uncertainty in planning and managing their tax outcomes, adding further dimensions to possible scenarios that may need to be contemplated during the tax planning process.
During this presentation we will explore a number of the end of financial year tax planning tips and traps to consider prior to the end of the financial year and implications beyond.”
