Small Business in Samford Valley – Opportunities Everywhere !
The Samford & Districts Chamber of Commerce Networking Breakfast on Wednesday 10th August at the Samford Community HUB will feature not 1, but 2 guests who have different messages for the local business community.
Chamber member Margaret Aspin has started and grown several small businesses since 2004. Industries have included IT hosting services, multimedia design, consulting and edutech. Prior to becoming a business owner, Margaret worked in the federal government on a project around unlocking opportunities for small business and this started her journey. Margaret has been a small business mentor in the Small Business Solutions TAFE Qld Build a Better Business program for seven years and since moving to Dayboro region over 18 months ago has been working extensively with all kinds of small businesses across Moreton Bay . She has discovered that the Samford Valley has amazing opportunities and a great growth future for micro and small businesses.
Our 2nd Guest at the meeting will be Lesleigh Wagner, who will be working as the go-to representative on behalf of both the Samford & Districts Chamber of Commerce and the Hills & Districts Chamber of Commerce in providing support and direction as the Moreton Money campaign expands within the business community. With a background of professional and communication skills, Lesleigh has the ability to interact with business community stakeholders at all levels . Her background includes sales, marketing and management experience over a variety of businesses small & large. Her on-the-ground knowledge as a former resident of the Samford Valley will greatly assist with understanding the requirements of the business community members in the Samford & Dayboro precincts
