SAMFORD & DISTRICTS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE WILL HOST STEM Punks DIRECTORS FIONA & MICHAEL HOLMSTROM as their guest speakers at the next monthly Networking Breakfast on Wednesday 14th April at the Flying Nun Café. Our mission is to ‘Inspire Tomorrow’s Innovators’”. STEM Punks is designed for children to learn the fundamental building blocks of S.T.E.M. (Science Technology Engineering and Maths). Computer science and computer-related fields have long been introduced to young people in a way that is disconnected from their interests and values – emphasising technical detail over creative potential. STEM Punks do things the other way around – creativity comes first, which then enriches the learning experience.
